I also mean the /hot of each subverse.

I posted something on /v/technology. It was not at all on the front page when it had one point (the default point by the submitter).

But as soon as it had two points, it was suddently already one of the top 5 submissions.

voat is so hive minded, you can get anything to the front page. you just need to get to like +10 upvoats and lemmings will flock and just upvoat it

Since a submission gets one point automatically, having one upvoat shows that it deserves to be "hot".

On Poal, a young post with a negative vote count can appear above a very old post with positive vote count.

But on Voat, a post with equal or fewer points than 1 does not appear at all in the list of Hot posts, even if it was the first post since 2 years.

It is completely hidden from /hot.
