The shills on Voat are very concerned with generating what they call "Fuck You Karma" (their own words), where they can post anything they want, use all of their alts and shill friends to brigade up posts of their own and destroy new users who do not resonate with their echo chamber. This is why the Voat userbase is so easily mislead.
They are very able to silence good information and make sure it only gets a handful of views by camping on all/new and immediately develocitating anything they do not wish any users to see.
The method is very simple and very effective.
Making downvotes public would destroy these shills.
This is why a report button should auto delete your own account.
We don't need faggots in the dark, we need shame in public.
