I was on Voat for 5+years. I loved it. It was THE place. Now I feel out of place. I hope that the people I grew to know and understand over there, can find respite here, or elsewhere.

I felt the same way about reddit, but rather than dying suddenly, it warped over the years. I eventually settled into voat but, as of today, I'm here. I think that things will be fine here; it seems like a place where we can speak freely. I'm going to enjoy this site while it lasts, and then I'll move onto the next clone.
