I've noticed that too. There's no more "normal" discussion.
You'd have to be an ignorant moron to believe that three letter intelligence agencies aren't monitoring that place very closely, or even actively posting there.
Putt has openly posted that he closed new user registration because three letter intelligence agencies were serving him warrants for user info and he knew that every single user was going on a list.
...And then Reddit bans another Trump subreddit and like magic Putt unlocks new user registration. So Putt was just trying to protect the users? So he does not care about protecting the new users? The lies are transparent
Anyone who does not realize that Voat is now just a containment zone for the Feds to honeypot and investigate is delusional.
Your logic checks out. If it is a containment zone or honey pot, that could get really dangerous for the users.
I noticed a lot of posts advocating for violence, a lot of people calling those posters shills, and debate between what constitutes a threat. It really does set alarm bells off.
Poal now is like what voat used to be, in my humble opinion.
The recent VPN endorsement actually spooked me out. I've noticed a weird change in tone over the years, the last year or so it's felt really artificial, but that was just what made me legitimately uncomfortable. Not that the rest of the site isn't crawling with heebery, but like... that endorsement is a little scary considering what it entails.
