I’m just some user, so I don’t know how to find out any details about what’s happening.

Anyone with more useful information is totally appreciated. I’m probably not the only interested person.

UPDATE: at about twelve minutes after the hour, Voat started acting up again. It was shortly after I sent this to a person in QRV:

about the Israeli nuclear weapons program. Obviously I can’t prove that’s why they are DDoSing Voat, but I’ve got that hunch.

I think they want to keep that information out of the hands of Boomers.

Putt lied when he said no one can see who 'anonymous' users are. Multiple users raised the alarm about being figured out in anon subs over the last couple of years but he called them liars. He's a scumbag.

Yeah, his comments give me a really weird vibe. I confess that, since I was really new at the time, I didn’t see any problem with his whole “Builders” post - on the surface it was fine if you didn’t know any background. But in retrospect his whole behavior has been really shady, like he’s been blackmailed into curating a particular kind of content, and driving away “undesirables”.

I’m still in the dark about most of it though.
