No, that is the point because you don't care about this on principle. You care about your Internet friend which is why this algorithm that has existed for months needs to be #canceled in your eyes.

What I meant by "you don't care about this on principle" is that you don't care about this algorithm being exploited as an issue in itself. You only care that it applied to your friend. It's a little odd that you didn't care for when it was applied to other users.
