I have a couple of those still for posterity sake. I remember gaming way back in the day and I'd have to pause, pop the ball out and scrape the gunk off the rollie parts so I could get fluid motion back.

I use a trackball. I still regularly clean the crap that builds up inside it. (fuck you cat)

All my mice minus one still use balls bigot.

I remember when wireless mice were just starting to appear on the market. Hours of fun can be had by plugging the receiver into the back of an unsuspecting victim's PC, and moving the mouse slightly every few minutes or when they were at am important (save) menu.

Still use one on my workbench PC, optical mice don't work so well on the anti static mat. Has one of those PS/2 to USB adapters.

I could clean my mouse with my fingernail. Now I pay for rechargeables.

I knew an old lady who used the mouse like a sewing machine pedal. She thought she was supposed to step on it.

I would always take the ball out and just fuck around with it like a marble or something. lol
