I think there are shows you can't watch on there unless you pay. for a while we paid for that and netflix now we pay for neither.

I first stated using Hulu in like 2007/2008 and it was free. You had to watch 30 second ads during the traditional commercial breaks.

Weird. I was still using dial up with one phone line so streaming was impossible. How long have they charged?

They slowly started charging a fee in 2010.
