I just stumbled upon a meme from The Walking Dead. This meme made me loop back to the 2010, when life was still normal. I was still able to feel full immersion when watching a TV show, because the reality was still normal. I don't feel full immersion anymore today, because all the shit that is going on in real life is way more twisted than any fiction could be.

You captured something I haven't been able to verbalize, being drawn into a story. I wasn't a walking dead fan but I did watch every episode of LOST. My buddy told me there was going to be a new episode and it reminded me of that time when I could let my guard down and get carried away by a story. Simpler times.

First couple years was okay. The writing was always terrible. Then it got fucking stupid. Then they bring in a corny nigger who is a kang with a pet tiger. Corniest shit. I turned the channel and never watched again. They're gonna make Darrel a tranny. Just wait and see.

Yup. I stopped watching when I noticed that every fucking relationship in the show was interracial. Every one. They just have to take a decent story and shove their virtue signaling bullshit in and destroy it. That was about the same time that I stopped watching tv entirely. You can't unsee the influence of the tiny hat tribe.
