I remember my brother and his friend using my computer in the mid '90s to connect to some BBS over a 14.4 modem. They messaged the owner and told him that his files sucked. He reported it to the cops who showed up to my house and spoke to my brother about not harassing people and if you don't like their "computer" don't connect to it.

grabbing warez on dialup from a newsgroup only to find one of the 30+ .rar split files is fucking corrupted.. yeah, good times, lmfao!
