Land around has changed hands many times. Now trespassing in Tx aint no joke, especially if you have a firearm. It used to be no big deal if you lived out here and werent a known asshole. People dont talk to each other anymore so dont know who is a neighbor. Everyone has fuckin cameras sending shit to their phones now.

I miss the days when I could just go on long walks. Shit used to be so much better.

It means they're isn't a gas station within 2-350 miles so if you run out, you could get caught out.
