I live in a rural area and the moon is often visible during the day, as long as it's not located near where the suns position is in the sky.

Oh, I agree ... LOL. This was posted as a spoof of something hans posted about how this was somehow unnatural.

I prefer to act like Hans never existed. We don't need morons lowering standards and making us think that stupidity is okay. Just my opinion. All the proven anti-Poal trolls need to be expelled by the Principal. Free speech is defined by society. We pay too much attention to libtards and boneheads as it is.

Again, we're on the same page ad I agree. I've ignored his comments completely, he's my number one commenter BTW and a big fan of my science links, never vote up or down on his stuff ... but do poke fun of him at times. This is just one of those few times. I'm in the camp of those who 'ignore the troll, you're feeding them what they want' ... so excuse my slip - LOL

On serous note, it is pretty cool when that happens.

It's because it used to make its own light but then global warming. Soon the earth will be really curved into a ball as this dynamic is now lost.

It was always a rare and special treat to see the moon in the daytime, in my youth. Recently the moon has been present in the day pretry much every day.
