“You called it a wealth tax on unrealized gains,” Bernstein said of the capital gains tax proposal. “In fact, what it really is, or at least the way we see, it is a prepayment or withholding tax on future capital gains.”

They want to tax you today on future money you might make. Of course you won't get a refund if you end up not making that money after all. How convenient for the government. This way when they need more tax revenue they don't have the inconvenience of having to get an uncooperative Congress to pass a tax increase, they can just tweak the rules to increase your calculated future income.

Theft is theft no matter how they couch the term. The fact is, the government does not require taxpayer money because they create currency as they desire.

Why even bother investing then? Shit they could start taxing your 401k on its gains (if you're lucky enough to make anything this shit ass market).

Isn't that the end game?

Own nothing and be forced to be happy also eat lentils goy!

No one said this would be easy for you!

That's exactly what they want to do. They're going to tax you when your 401k is higher and give you nothing when it's lower. You'll be taxed on imagination income that you never had.

They destroyed saving as a wealth-building strategy through manipulating the money supply to deflate the value of savings, forcing savers to turn to investing to grow their wealth. Now they're going after investment. The end goal is to prevent the accumulation of wealth in any way.

It makes sense when you view it through the lens of their deranged critical race theory. They're going to attack what they believe is the reason smart people (aka white and Asian) have wealth and brown people don't. In other words, it's another step in dismantling Western civilization.
