Are you trying to make it look like a court room?
It should have a similar atmosphere.
But the main background is normal in light mode.
Although then you have issues with it displaying correctly on different screen sizes, which I haven't figured out yet. But when I do I'll try to remember to make a post on /s/CSS.
On which screen does it look faulty?
It looks well to me.
The sub displays fine but it doesn't have the gradient.
It's still OK to me.
On my phone's browser it doesn't look right. On the laptop it's fine.
If you wish, you can post a screen shot.
You can actually make a gradient in an image editor and then add it as a background image in the CSS settings if you like. See /s/Underworld.
