I like flixtor, but in addition to the drawbacks you note, I find that the movies are not updated frequently, and that most of the ones they do add to their list are made by student movie makers using Apple iPhones for their cameras and microphones. There are a couple of production companies that, when I see their logos come up, I immediately turn off the movie because I know it will stink. One of them has like a splash of red wine across the logo. Damn, those movies are stinkers.
