What I mean is, it's ok to enjoy a movie without taking into consideration the politics or religion of the people behind the camera. Most films are made by scumbags. The producers, the directors, the writers --all of them. But, as soon as a work of fiction is released to the public, I think it BELONGS to the public. It should be viewed as it's own, distinct thing and should be judged by its merits alone. Now, the exception to this is when there's an obvious agenda being pushed. Then it's going to suck anyways, so whatever.

I might also be a hypocrite in that I've enjoyed music without researching studios, etc.

I think we should strive to be better but some of these things are a part of us already. Some of us grew up with the music and movies that we find now are "bad".

Does stripping that away rob us in another sense? Hell. Is that part of robbing our identity?

Fuck it. Watch and post what you like in your sub.
