Why haven't many zombie movies touched on the idea that zombies seem to be able to go forever without food?

I've seen only two movies touch on this which were: Dawn of the Dead and Shawn of the Dead.

These movies should move on to show zombies being captured and domesticated, like at the end of Shawn of the Dead where the zombies are being used to do work. this way, it shows that they aren't a source of unlimited energy, and it makes humans look smart again instead of in this weird state of fear all the time. Could do something like a donkey and carrot thing where they keep moving forward to try and eat the carrot.

This could lead to all sorts of evolutions in the genre.

Zombie movies have been done to death a thousand times over. It's time to drive a stake through their hearts. We're drowning in a sea of zombie movies. They are like roaches in a bad motel. Disease zombies. Occult zombies. Space zombies. Parasite zombies. Crazy drug zombies. Government created zombies. I am fucking SICK OF ZOMBIE MOVIES! Stop making them, you Jew faggots. Just stop.
