Tusk and Human Centipede sounds like really stupid movies. Dude tries to turn a man into a walrus, or dude tries to turn people into a centipede.
But behind their silly premise, they are legit horror movies based on very real fears. It is not ghosts or shit like that.
But a nutjob that wants to keep your head in a glass jar after watching Futurama is a very real fear.
Went into tusk, not knowing what to expect at all as well. Thought the old guy had some weird deformity, or sexually mutilated. The actor has quite a performance

Died in 2017.
He stands out pretty much in every on his roles.
Watch Red State. Or his small roles in Tarantino's movies, (Kill Bill 1 and 2)
Never seen human centipede, but it's been a while since I had such a visceral, stomach churning reaction to walrus metamorphosis torture, and I watch a lot of horror.
Rewatched hereditary, enjoyed it even more, watched midsommar two nights ago, though I would say it's not entirely accurate/bitch is annoying at beginning, but that makes for the transformation plot, and don't trust jew directors motives, but loved the intricate detail. Don't get why that one has more mixed reviews though.
