Man did that cause serious revulsion, etc, and I'm always trying to find good horror. Like the reaction of 'the uncanny valley'. Can't stop thinking about it.

I felt that way after the first viewing, but not after the second. In fact my biggest criticism now is the casting of Gabriel Byrne. He did a fine job but is too old for the part and it stuck out, for me at least.

Tenet is another movie that requires multiple viewings. Like almost everyone else after first seeing it I wanted to dismiss it as over-done and mostly just Nolan showing off. But there is so much going on in virtually every scene that it's impossible for anyone to begin to take it all in in a single viewing. I watched it a second time on a whim and it was like watching a different film.

Wonder if they allowed his accent to slip on purpose. Sounds like a believable transplant one. May aunt moved back to the states after living in england for many years, kinda has that.
