Just saw it the other week. I liked it on first watch but the ending was terrible. The time traveler didn’t solve anything because he only killed one of the clans of the underground people. The others will eventually create the future he saw and now there really is nothing he can do to change it.
Also, we are assuming that the underground people are the “bad guys” when that’s just subjective. The regular people above ground aren’t very smart and completely illiterate, why should they continue to live?
