I guess the gooks relish schlock horror. Previously I'd seen Wan's Conjuring movies, but this was entirely different. I understand this is more his normal style and the Conjuring movies were his take on old school Western horror. I was getting bored at first, but once it got weird it didn't stop. I did appreciate the use of The Pixies as a cue to viewers where the story was headed. Not my style of film, but entertaining and not some pozzed globohomo shit unless you read into the religious and abortion subtexts.
