Just finished this movie. I haven't really been a fan of Halloween movies until later. The classics and older are better just as always.
This movie wasn't that good. The ending was about the best part because the whole movie they are trying to force this dull nostalgia into the picture that had no essence or boring "classic" characters. I cheered when the new characters died because they were fucking boring and had no character development. Also, the black couple was just annoying. The forcefulness of making these woke black characters seem like iconic white citizens dressed as doctors was hilarious. When the black guy said he had never fired a gun before I kind of laughed a little too much at that.
On the character development, It's like everyone is just there until they are killed. You don't feel any liveliness for any of these characters, they're just dead inside waiting for death. Writing has become so dull and the obsessiveness for wokeness is ruining creativity.
Did you know Danny McFaggot fucking Bride helped write this movie? Probably explains the jew wokeness.
The first couple Michael goes to kill is an old mixed race couple. Right. Then the next couple he goes to is a gay couple. Could have called that. And as always all these characters just stand there and scream as they are killed by the slowest moving serial killer. I wish movies could just develop from this and show people doing real fight or flight.
I liked the previous one much more. This one was so boring and it was pretty pointless having Jamie Lee Curtis. This whole film was pretty much just a build-up for the sequel 'Halloween Ends' with her in it. It's not worth your time unless you plan on watching the finale. It is totally a filler between the two.
