Hollywood is a tiny industry. About 42 billion revenue for the entire industry in 2019. Compared to apple being worth 2.4 trillion and that's only one company. Disclaimer: revenue and market cap is not apples to apples.
Anyway, it is insane to think so much of our culture is valued so little. That's only possible because of the insane protectionismin the industry.
