Denis Villeneuve's Dune (2021) is as boring as LOTR. It's 2 hours of watching people wandering back and forth trough the desert. Like LOTR, I fall asleep in the first 15 minutes. Dune has no memorable dialogues or scenes. Just people babbling about nothing and doing random tasks to fill in the 2 hours long film. The screenwriter seems to be retarded, uncapable to write an exciting and meaningful plot. Star Wars in comparison is a masterpiece.

Jackson's Lord of the Rings is a masterpiece. The Dune remake is OK but has too much liberal PC baggage, and it just stops dead in the middle of the book. It's basically half a movie. The actors are poorly chosen for their roles.

I like dune only within the context of modern graphics sci fi stuff. It was just fluff.

Bladerunner 2049 was still a better movie/story than dune [2021]

Avoid anything with subtitles, or is over 80 minutes long too
