It's the 4th greatest Matrix film and it's tied with two others.
The fighting scenes are just passé. It's not that they are that bad, it's just that you've seen it a million times, already. After twenty years of action scenes, they all start to blur together.

I decided to watch the movie over the weekend to see if it was really that bad.

It was honestly not as bad as I thought it was going to be. I thought they were going to do overt tranny BS. I was waiting for a tranny to be extracted from the matrix to find out they really were the wrong sex... But instead they allowed Neo to continue to be half of 'The One'... I thought they would strip him completely of the title and pass it on to the blue-haired chick, but instead they turned 'The One' into a Ying-Yang/Male-Female concept ironically making 'The One' really 'The Two'... Even more ironic is that the revamped concept of 'The One' reinforces the division between the sexes and the need for traditional gender roles. Lana Wachowski's desire to pull down the strong male Neo character only managed to tacitly admit to the division and balance between the sexes.
