"In the prehistoric past, a young man struggles to return home after being separated from his tribe during a buffalo hunt. He finds a similarly lost wolf companion and starts a friendship that would change humanity."

It's a fairly simple film but the scenes are well shot and the story isn't jewed

some streaming sites don't have the subtitled version, this one does: https://176.123.8.15/alpha-2018/

Wife and I watched this the other day. The story makes more sense and is much more believable if you assume the boy is ten years old instead of the clearly older boy (14-16?), who could have never existed in that world.

Some parts of the story are not well written. But overall it was an enjoyable watch and easier to believe once you accept he's ten years old. Best of all, I don't recall any SJW BS.

yeh I kinda thought the same, like when he turned up to meet that other tribe and the father introduces his son as if he was only just old enough, (I think Indians hunted from 14+ ?), when that actor was 6'2" and aged around 22 in the film

Heck, 150 years ago in American culture, boys 10-12 worked, fished, and hunted, to help provide for their families. Even in my family, by the age of 10 we were capable of hunting (firearms and archery), fishing, and trapping (snares). And we did.
