Tried in the line of fire last night. Man, some terrible dialogue, but I like clint Eastwood and think they were going for some sort of kitsch vibe. Hit me niggers.

He deserved an award for his acting though I don't care for hollyweird institutions.

Who does modern val kilmers vampire wardrobe?

I believed he's battle throat cancer unfortunately so he probably does seem a bit eccentric but from what I understand it's currently in remission.

Still never seen it. Remember being excited for it to come out, then heard it sucked

It's made by an eccentric French director with a dislike for common tropes, so of course some people will hate it. I still consider it one of the best movies of all time.

It was back when Bruce Willis could still act. It's a lot of fun.

Between that movie and Die Hard, I've watched them dozens of times as a kid with my dad. I got some 3D printed models of the Stones in that movie for his birthday. Loved them.

That was an odd one. How many decades has Eastwood been playing the old man?

Wag the Dog is good to fall asleep to. Bob Roberts too if you can watch it chuckling about how the left could never meme.

Edit: The Spanish Prisoner is also great

Too long, but he's a great unrecognized director as well

That he is. Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil is pretty gay character-wise, but is a good southern gothic epic IMO. Story arc is kinda lifetime movie-ish, but the sense of cultural immersion is strong. Another good one to fall asleep to.

Note- I used to fall asleep to movies/ series most every night. Slept ok (depending on food/ drinks consumed) I guess. Stopped that and needed my sweet 8hr playlist of ambient music. Moved to a new place and decided bedroom is screen-free zone. No TV, no computer on nightstand (that was a terrible habit), no phone scrolling. Just set alarm and sleep. Much quieter residence, haven’t set up a speaker system yet. FWIW..

So... You're gonna come over, and we'll make s'mores, and do shadow puppets together until we fall asleep... Yeh

May have seen this. Ennio is a great composer. Liked when he collaborated on Rome with Jack white and danger mouse
