Nightmare on Elm Street 1.

I like the others, but the first one was the best.

'The Nightmare' doc. (2015)

from kikipedia: The documentary focuses on people suffering from sleep paralysis, a phenomenon where people find themselves temporarily unable to move, speak, or react to anything while they are falling asleep or awakening. Occasionally this paralysis will be accompanied by physical experiences or hallucinations that have the potential to terrify the individual. In the film, Ascher interviews each participant and then tries to re-create their experiences on film with professional actors.

Never want to have that

some already have that & are unaware consciously, almost as if you're on an astral projection trajectory.

Sometimes I have lucid dreams or just really trippy ones. Hate them falling dreams when you're half asleep that jar you up

I just recently watched and was pretty damned impressed. It's very unexpected and non-traditional for a horror movie. Definitely recommend.

Some guy did an analysis of Hereditary that I watched after seeing the movie 3 times and thinking that I had a pretty good handle on it. Nope, I wasn't even scratching the surface.

Here it is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xdDwCNUKwxs

I'd say A Dark Song and Rosemary's Baby are not just my favorites but arguably 2 of the best films in that genre ever made.

Not horror per se but still pretty unsettling The Clovehitch Killer.

I'll check it out. The creep series is good too

The Exorcist and The Shining are classics. The babadook, Sinister and Event Horizon are all good imho

Babadook I gotta try

The monster was pretty good but I hope you like watching a single mother be useless at everything the entire movie.

Don't get how people say Shelley Duvall acted poorly in the shining

Phantasm

Tried to watch one of those, couldn't get into it.

I've heard that movie described several different ways but never as a horror.

Inland Empire and Requiem for a Dream

Both good. Hope Lynch does more twin peaks
