Basically switching to the standard event pricing for seats like they already do for concerts and sports, surprised they never did that in the past but it makes sense. Movie theaters have a huge new field of competition from at home streaming services and 95% of major movies now are absolute garbage.
The last film I watched in theater was John Wick 3, if I have to watch JW4 in a side seat or back row to get a decent ticket price that's fine honestly, theaters are pretty well designed to give a decent experience from almost any seat except the far back corners and those seats are for degens who like sneak in liquor and weed or teens trying to make out anyway.
