Every enemy, Specter, captured him. Every foe got the drop on him. He was too taken aback with tits and bathing suits. As a "spy", James Bond sucked.

He did, however, have great taste in secretaries.

Am I the only one that wants to fuck Moneypenny 'til she groans?

007 is fantasy escapism for the everyday, intelligent man. Which is why they retooled to destroy it with Craig (not actually a Bond character), with women in control, constantly denouncing his masculinity, and later killing him off as a romantically controlled oafish baffoon in competition with a black women.

The Craig reimagining are adventure movies but not 007. They pretty much discarded everything which is James Bond. The current stuff is largely low brow garbage, somewhat influenced by Austin Powers backfire.

Austin Powers wasn't as good as The Silencers imho

I don't know about the silencers. Never heard of it.

It was part of a series of spy movie spoofs in the 60's starring Dean Martin.

Those stories were never about "being a spy," they were gentlemen's stories about fancy gadgets, nice cars, alcohol, travel, and women. They were Playboy without the centerfold, "Amazing Stories" for the refined man.

For perspective, the first Bond book was published in 1953.

This may well be, but he did get sucked by some serious babes, and Moneypenny can seriously "shine my coin"
