The movie is better than it was given credit for. Going to have to rewatch it sometime soon.
I've been ripping Blu rays and DVDs to my server forever. I've been thinking I need to go to pawn shops and thrift stores to rip some old VHS too, before they tried to 'edit for modern audiences '. Just to make sure (((they))) can't erase it.
It was probably overshadowed by the matrix. I thought the trailer looked awesome as a lad, but haven't gotten around to watching it for 25 years... Occasionally it'd show up on platforms, but I wanted to let it still have nostalgic mystery... Now I wish I could full immerse into a 1930s world
Yeah, that is probably true. Similar ideas but don in a very different way. I don't know a lot of people that even know that the 13th floor existed.
Its sort of like The Boondock saints. It was probably going to be huge on release but due to some... things happening around that same time the release was delayed by nearly a year (I think) and it never got the attention it should have.
I remember a few of us from different bands crashed at a friend's place, getting showed it when it was extra cult classic. Second one sucked though
My son is doing this at this moment. He's making a Netflix of his own to share with family. We've given him unrestricted access to our collection of movies. We have hundreds, which is unfortunate because we more or less speed watching TV when we woke up after COVID began.
It’s funny because I watched it again a few days ago.
It’s actually smarter than the degenerate jew fags trans and their matrix series.
In its last season (8), Futurama introduced that idea of a simulated worlds within other simulated worlds, and pushed it through the Mandela effect movie plot (overloading the simulation to reset it).
I wish I could have seen the original cut. Apparently they had to massively dumb it down because people "didn't get it' (the matrix). Even then, I remember people I thought that were somewhat smart seeing it more than once in theater that said they still "didn't get it' but they liked it anyway...
The first movie was more than enough.
These faggotkikes turned it into an action mess, with a multicultural orgy.
