The biggest plot hole was the battery reference. The human brain is super efficient and doesn’t generate much power. At least way less than a battery.
Instead of an entire simulated world that would require a crazy amount of energy and computation, the machines could have simply figured out cold fusion instead. Billion times more efficient.
Yeah, like everything out of pedowood there were plot holes everywhere.
It is probably why it was dumbed down so much. Why keep humans as batteries? Why not also use their brains for processing the data from the simulation itself? Not saying its efficient or anything. Why not make your cattle process the data/systems needed to keep them alive so you don't have to spend your processing power on it?
