The last thing we need right now are H1B's or other "visa workers". Some exceptions may be -slightly- reasonable but you are going to have to argue a damn good case for me to even consider it at all.

We need no H1B. If a company needs a specialist, they can make a case to hire a specialist for a short time - with the connected world they don't really need to be here on site.
