not really 'news' but i keep getting these suggested EVH videos: Here is a brief clip of him at the White House introducing the Peavey couple. . The Peavey's own the Peavey company that makes amplifiers! This video clip is from Bush senior days, but it looks like Peavey still manufactures in the US and is dedicated to the literacy program they are being honored for in the clip.

i'll try not to overdo it - been watching & reading a lot. he was such a regular guy - giving autographs without attitude. sure, he wasn't perfect, but for someone so influential & famous, seems he never let it get to his head

Yeah it's amazing the story of that band. I really hope Wolf (Eddie's son) keeps Van Halen going. There's a video of Wolf playing part of Eruption. From what I've heard, he's a really good musician and the reason why the last VH album with Roth was made back in the early 2010s
