Some fruit vendor couldn't afford a fee/bribe so the Tunisian bureaucrats shut him down. He felt he was financially ruined and had no hope of supporting his family so he just set himself on fire in protest. That sparked multiple revolutions.
Later the glow niggers escalated and exacerbated things but the beginning was organic and people were just at their limit with being bullied.
