I'm not saying all hope is lost, I'm saying I don't hold out much hope for voting my way out of this mess. If there is a peaceful solution it's going to happen through secession, not reforming washington and draining the swamp. If there isn't, well, back in 1776 they didn't sign the "strongly worded letter of independence". But hey, if I'm wrong then great. I'm all in favour of problems solving themselves without me having to lift a finger.
