well just from a purely objective point of view. He was a founder in paypal back during the tech bubble. was forced out, sold his stake in the company.
Started an electric vehicle company and exploited democrat idiots to gain federal grants. and for 10 years was hailed as a pure conman. I was very much on that anti-tesla bandwagon.(until the day i saw a model s stomp a 2018 demon in a drag race).
The truth is, it will be slowly adopted technology but its highly viable, especially 10 years from now. then when you consider the ramifications of spacex, starlink, and all the other projects his network of businesses have in the pipeline it becomes historical.
What happens to at&t and others when starlink goes live and is on par with any other highspeed network from any location in the world. what happens to apple and microsoft when tesla launches an operating system and offers a new smartphone for sale?
its coming
For the sake of intellectual honesty i will say that i invested heavily in tesla during the march 2020 market crash. and in only 10 months i multiplied that invest by a factor of almost 10. It has been extremely good to me.
Don't get me wrong, I WANT him to be /ourbillionnaire/ or something along those lines, but I'm wary. Even if he really is good, which I think he is, what happens when he passes? Are we bound for a replacment of shitty monopolies with a bigger one?
well, i dont know if hes our guy. but i hate him alot less than the ones trying to control my life. unless he takes a turn in that direction i hope he wins.
and thats a good question. who knows what the future holds 30 years from now
