No it wouldn't be the first or last time. There is still a concerted effort at foreign powers running disinformation campaigns.
But people no longer ask 'who, what, where, when why.'
They only answer yes.
If you go to a zoo and the monkeys throw their feces at you, are you upset with the monkeys, the zookeepers, or yourself?
Most people are contemptible and should not even have access to a basic edcuation, they'll only abuse the privelege.
