Life is about taking calculated risks. I live in an urban area but I haven't locked my door for the last 7 years with no problem. It doesn't mean I don't worry about getting shit stolen. But I know and accept the risk and the benefit, and the benefit far outweighs the risk.
From my own risk analysis, the risk of getting the vaccine is far greater than the benefit. So yea, from my point of view, you are the sick one for worrying about getting sick when the risk of dying or even infection is negligible. It's not the matter of you or I being more right than the other, but from the perspective of someone who thinks the virus is not dangerous, you might as well be a hypochondriac.

Can you explain the benefit of not locking your door? I actually know two different people who do this, and not in a great area. It’s always confused me and the few times I’ve asked I never get a straight answer.
It's a calculated risk based on living situation, neighborhood, understanding human psychology, and how materialistic you are. The last thing probably weighing heavier than the other. I live very frugally, so 99% of my possessions are bare necessities. I have no "luxury items" so to speak. From the perspective of the burglar, I would say the risk greatly outweighs the benefit.
You just articulated the risk part, but I asked about the benefit? Is there a benefit aside from saving the 2 seconds it takes to operate the lock? That just seems like a very small benefit to weigh against anything.
I’m talking about the benefit to yourself, btw. Not the benefit to the burglars.
