This is the situation within every government department, certainly in Europe and the US, it is impossible to affect change because the Left runs everything now.
Of course it's a valid option, there's no shortage of "second in command" in the chain of command, who doesn't want to be the next caliph in the military? You fire one and you tell the next he can get fired just as fast. Generals aren't the most courageous, especially when their careers are in the balance, they have no problem sucking dicks to protect their precious careers
