The government doesn't create any wealth. It would just be plundering this $10k from the very group of people it's supposedly helping. It's just a big pit of destruction.
The current government is certainly not and historically D-rulers have increased the state debt every single time they got the opportunity..
No government anywhere have the abition to create wealth; rather they seek to control as much wealth as possible.
However stimulus checks would create growth, which the common man and the government would benefit both directly and indirectly from.. the former POTUS knew this to be a fact, being a somewhat capable and astute businessman..
