And yet a single suspected case of covid, not death, is enough to lockdown a country. Only when it's vaccines do they treat 100 as a small number.
They can't process 100 being a small number for any of the things they care about. Then if you say peanuts they call you insensitive.
Lets be honest, in the grand scheme of things its all peanuts. What matters more is that we are talking about transforming society entirely over peanuts issues. We are turning peanut issues into life crushing mountains of government intervention. Lets face it. That's what we are arguing over. The numbers related to medical subjects in either way are just a way to morally guilt trip the other side into agreeing with you on the real issue.
So lets ignore the numbers on both sides and get to the real conversation. Do we want a system where the government knows where everyone is all the time and can restrict your access to the rest of society without due process? Numbers are going to number no matter what we do, but we need to have a conversation about what matters. They distract us from the real conversation with this side conversation. And then when we come back at them with our numbers we are reengaging them in that side conversation. I don't care if 100 Million died in this country alone. I wouldn't yield. I'd gladly sacrifice that number for freedom lost to war. If freedom is easily worth 100 million lives, why then would I give up freedom over such a small issue.
...They can't process 100 being a small number for any of the things they care about. Then if you say peanuts they call you insensitive. Lets be honest, in the grand scheme of things its all peanuts....
Almost. Peanuts kill about 150-200 people a year. We should stop society entirely until all peanuts are eradicated.
