That number sounds absurdly high. I don't doubt there are fucked up didlers out there but this seems more like a diversion for the real didler tribe. It's ABC News though (Disney) so I am sure they wouldn't make things up.
I looked at the article and they say that's an estimate over 70 years. So I did the math; that comes to 4714 annually or an average of 13 kids per day, everyday, for 70 years.
I am going to go ahead and call this bullshit.
When anyone touts this line it's not for children it's for an agenda under the guise of children.
