Use lightning. Get the Phoenix wallet. The fees are absurdly low. Bitcoin on-chain fees get high when there is a lot of traffic. Lightning is offchain. Check mempool.space and you can see when you can send an on-chain transaction in the next block cheap as hell. Once off-chain, all transactions are super cheap.
