The entire premise is purposely deceptive. They are using the fact that in the course of Kyle running/ travelling from point A to point B - rosenfag (who while going in a similar direction) was physically in front of Kyle - this was shortly before rosenfag - having noticed KYLE running past began shouting Kyle and stared to chase him - as seen on video at the time.
