George Carlin had a comedy bit about this. He talked about the blue-eyed barbarians, and how, if you see them coming over the hill, you'd better grab your wife and daughters and run. The Vikings had blue eyes. They come from the northlands, the cold and the ice and the darkness. That breeds blue eyes. It's a symbol of the ability of white men to wage war more effectively than any other race this planet has ever produced.
