Because of the power of symbolism. Like it or not, American normies have been programmed to viscerally hate anything labeled "turrism" and this can be used to reprogram them with new instructions via media.

I understood that. I also think that people have been desensitized to “terror” attacks. Which army base was it that the Muslim shot up? Barely a blip.
Call it an “attack,” though, and you get people feeling like they’ve been invaded. Their land is being threatened. Violence in their own soil.
