Trespassing in of itself does not justify deadly force statutorily. Notice I said “statutorily”, which means “by law”.

And I am from and live in Texas. Not sure about Ohio law, but I kinda have to think that if it is illegal in Texas, then it’s certainly illegal in Ohio.

This was covered in a LTC (license to carry) course I took a couple weeks back as a refresher.

You may or may not agree with the law as it is written, but that’s a different issue entirely.

Unless your life or someone else’s life is in immediate danger or appears to be in immediate danger, you’re supposed to call the (likely worthless AF) police to handle it.

The biggest realization I had in taking that course is that most people I know think that they can shoot someone in many situations when they legally can’t. It was definitely an eye opener for me.
