But they probably still have administrative penalties such as fines, and I bet they aggressively pursue your money if you violate a city ordinance, but they won't jail you. I'm on the fence on this one. Municipal laws are usually just naked cash grabs these days. Fuck the city governments. But fuck scofflaws too.
