It reminds me of the Marc Dutroux investigation in the mid-90's in Belgium. The guy got caught with two young girls hidden in a secret room in his basement (the girls were already dead when discovered) and after investigation, it turns out that he was providing young girls for a lot of people; some of them powerful. He had customers in every level of society and when words came out that some of those people where cops, judges and even royals, he was quicly convicted for diddling some kids and that was the end of it. No name drop.
